Does anyone know about Elizabeth Vere-Spencer, the Countess of Darby, married to William Spencer, 6th Earl of Darby.

Apparently, the Earls of Darby or the Spencers were rulers of the Isle of Man, when it was an independent kingdom at the turn of the 1600th Century.

Any information or resources on this subject would be appreciated.
