Louis KINRADE, William CHRISTIAN, Walter CHRISTIAN, William Henry KEWIN, John Robert KEWIN, William SENOGLES, Robert LEWNEY, Edward KINRADE, John OLIVER, John James OLIVER, Robert CANNELL, John KEWLEY, Edward KEWLEY, Robert KELLY, Frank CHRISTIAN (my GG Uncle), Sandy CALLAN, William CALLOW and John FAYLE.
Miners rescued: John QUAYLE, Evan CHRISTIAN, James CORKILL, John CORLETT, James KNEALE, Robert CANNELL, Philip MYLECHRAINE, Thomas COOLE, John CORLETT,
George MOUGHTIN, Thomas UGLOW, Henry CLAGUE, Thomas Charles CLAGUE, William HUDGEON. Thomas CAIN and Hugh CONDRA worked above ground and were not involved in the disaster. Robert MOORE and William CHRISTIAN are mentioned as two of the miners who assisted in recovering the bodies of John Fayle, John Oliver, John James Oliver, John Robert Kewin and Walter Christian on Wednesday, 12 May.
On that day these two miners rescued Mr. Griffith J. WILLIAMS,assistant mining inspector, who was himself overcome while leading the recovery efforts.
