I've no idea if anyone will have any information about this, however, SS Persic was a White Star Line vessel that sailed the passenger route between Liverpool & Australia. She was launched from Harland & Wolf, Belfast in 1899. I've got a watercolour portrait of a man in uniform, dated 1901, captioned "SS Persic". Does anyone know if there was a manx connection? I've been unable to find crew lists for it.
