I have been doing some work on Fiona Blanches request for information.
Hannah McNeale married William Fargher on 29th August 1872 in Lonon Isle of Man.
It then gets interesting!
The 1881 Census records give the following information.
Dwelling: Chronk E Chule Farm House
Census Place: Lonan, Isle of Man, England
William FARGHER M 54 M Lonan, Isle of Man, England Rel: Head Occ: Farmer Of 72 Acres

Jane FARGHER 2 F Lonan, Isle of Man, England Rel: Daur
Emily FARGHER 6 m F Lonan, Isle of Man, England
The date of birth between Fiona's message and the census record is out by approximately 5 years. The age of the Children would lead me to believe the census records are the more likely to have the incorrect date.
By coincidence if the same variance is applied to William Fargher's date of birth, it makes him the son of William Fargher and Elinor Quine, William originating in Santon, Isle of Man.
Is anyone able to assist with the anomalies?
